Upholstery Workshop – Preston, Lancashire PR50SG

I’d love to welcome you to one of my one day (10 am to 3 pm) ‘Upholstery Workshops’ in a relaxed and friendly environment at the lovely Hoghton Village Hall, Preston, Lancashire.

Learn the wonderful craft of upholstery (no previous experience needed) by making and upholstering a lovely footstool from scratch in one day to take home with you whilst making some new like minded friends in a relaxed, supportive and beautiful environment. You will be able to choose the style and height of your footstool feet and paint or wax them to match your chosen fabric. The workshop is ideal for complete beginners, or for people who have tried their hand at upholstery previously and would like to expand their skills.

I will be there every step of the way to guide you and take you through the process at your pace. With such a small group, there is plenty of time for one to one discussion. Full workshop notes on techniques, tools and materials and where to buy will be provided.

After the workshop you will be able to upholster many of your own pieces at home having learned all about the tools, foams, materials, folds, finishings etc. Please feel free to contact me after the day should you need any help or guidance.

Homemade cakes, cream scones and tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day. Lunch is not included in the price although there is a small shop a 5 min drive away which sells snacks or please feel free to bring some lunch with you.
