Have you had it in the back of your mind for a while that you would like to try your hand at restoring and refreshing your dated furniture but you are not sure where to start, or have you had a go but are not sure if there is a better, easier or more creative way?
I would be delighted to welcome you to one of my friendly and welcoming one day workshops at one of my venues in Lancashire, Cheshire or Greater Manchester on a date to suit you.

– Susan Sanderson

Attending a furniture painting workshop is a fun and rewarding way of quickly and easily learning the skills required to get creative with your furniture and interiors. You will learn all about the preparation required for your furniture (no need for stripping, priming or heavy sanding), the different paints, brushes and other products available and the pros and cons of each. Also about the tips and tools of the trade and the wide variety of different techniques and ideas available for creatively painting your furniture.
You will learn a variety of creative techniques including crackling, dry brushing, distressing, two colour, stencilling, waxing, blending, finishing and paint protecting techniques and you will be able to bring your own piece of furniture to transform using your newly learned skills during the workshop.
You will hopefully return home full of inspiration and the know how to continue with your own projects with the reassurance that I will be on hand to give you further advice and guidance after the workshop, if required.
Each workshop will run from 10am to 3pm with lunch break and plenty of coffee/tea/cake in between – Mum’s delicious homemade cream scones and gorgeous cakes are becoming rather renowned among workshop attendees!
Please don’t worry if you are a complete novice! I will explain everything from the beginning during the course.
The numbers are kept small (6 to 8) so I will be on hand for one-to-one instruction as much as you need during the day.
Everything you will need for the workshop will be included i.e. chalk paints, brushes, waxes, practice board etc.
Our lovely Re-Colour Furniture CHALK PAINT will be available for you to buy at the workshops should you wish to continue with your own projects at home. Cash, PayPal or Bank Transfer payment methods will be available on the day.
